Visit of the Working Group of the Higher Education Supervisory Board of Lorestan Province to Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz in February 2023

The working group of the Board of Supervision, Evaluation, and Quality Assurance of Higher Education in Lorestan Province visited the equipment and laboratories allocated to Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz for the establishment of the Faculty of Petroleum, Gas, and Petrochemical Engineering. This visit was conducted to examine the physical spaces, equipment, and laboratories allocated and prepared for the establishment of the Faculty of Petroleum, Gas, and Petrochemical Engineering, as per the directive of the Center for Supervision and Evaluation of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology.

The working group of the Board of Supervision, Evaluation, and Quality Assurance of Higher Education in Lorestan Province, in addition to conducting a field observation of the spaces and laboratories and evaluating the documentation, participated in a joint meeting with the presence of Dr. Alireza Kiasat, Vice President for Research and Technology of the University, the Dean of the Faculty of Science, the Head of the Chemistry Department, the Secretary, and experts from the Board of Supervision of Higher Education in Khuzestan Province.

In this meeting, the necessary explanations and information regarding the importance and necessity of establishing this faculty at Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz were presented, and the required data and information about the courses and fields of study, faculty members, students, etc., were provided.
