The meeting of the Board of Supervision, Evaluation, and Quality Assurance of Higher Education in Lorestan Province was held.

The meeting of the Supervisory, Evaluation, and Quality Assurance Council for Higher Education of Lorestan Province was held under the chairmanship of Dr. Ali Nazari.

According to the Public Relations Department of Lorestan University, in this meeting, which was held on Tuesday, December 13th, with the presence of the directors of the Supervisory, Evaluation, and Quality Assurance groups of the universities of Lorestan province in the meeting hall of the President's Office of Lorestan University, Dr. Ali Nazari, the head of the Supreme Supervisory, Evaluation, and Quality Assurance Council of Lorestan Province, in his speech, attributed some of the problems in the university system to the lack of supervision and evaluations.

Dr. Nazari called for supervision and evaluation to exist not only in some pillars but in all pillars of the higher education system of the province.

He demanded that the Supervisory, Evaluation, and Quality Assurance Council for Higher Education of the province should analyze and evaluate the status of shortages and deficiencies.

The President of Lorestan University emphasized that the educational groups of the universities should also be analyzed and evaluated based on accurate statistics; for example, this issue should be examined to what extent educational groups have effective communication with industry and community sectors.

The head of the Supervisory, Evaluation, and Quality Assurance Council for Higher Education of Lorestan Province, supervision and evaluation should exist and be strengthened in all pillars of a university; for example, this council should review and analyze the meetings and workshops held in universities to what extent they have operational and effective outputs?

In this meeting, other members also expressed their views on the ways to strengthen the supervision, evaluation, and quality assurance of higher education in Lorestan Province.

Also, Dr. Nemat Shams, the former director of the Supervisory, Evaluation, and Quality Assurance group of Lorestan University, was appreciated for his efforts and actions.

It is worth mentioning that the secretary of the Supervisory, Evaluation, and Quality Assurance Council for Higher Education of Lorestan Province is Dr. Ali-Heydar Nasrollahi, and the director of the Supervisory, Evaluation, and Quality Assurance group of Lorestan University is Dr. Davoud Mirzaeifar.
